Scholarship Scholarship

Annual Merit Based Scholarship

The Foundation, in collaboration with the school Principal and a newly established 5-member Scholarship Panel of Judges will formulate a stimulative and thought-provoking academic exercise for students in Junior Secondary School 2 (JSS2).

At the conclusion of each exercise, 10 top finalists will be chosen by the Panel of Judges in a double blinded format for an award determined by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Objective:

This merit-based scholarship aims to create an environment that fosters quality learning and competitiveness, which will enable students to unleash their unique creative abilities. It will teach students not only to gather good data, but also to assemble the data in a written form that makes the subject matter understandable to the reader.

Award:

Award: The Foundation will give an award package called, Impact Backpack. This Backpack will include the following relevant school supplies:
👉 Back packs 👉 80 leaves exercise books 👉 Pack of pens 👉 Pencils 👉 Crayons 👉 Drawing books 👉 Mathematical sets 👉 Ruler, etc.

Eligibility Requirement:

While our goal is to support every student at their individual level, we also aim to establish standards that empower them. Therefore, only JSS2 students who achieve at least 70% in English and Mathematics will qualify to participate. This threshold is not intended to exclude anyone but to foster a competitive environment where each student can gradually excel and thrive.

2024/2025 Academic Year:

Eligible students were invited to write a 300-word essay on the topic, "My First Day at School." Regrettably, only three students met the qualification criteria. The winners are: 1st Place: Batubo Charity Sepiribo 2nd Place: Davidwest Ibiso 3rd Place: Batubo Soibifaa. This is what the Foundation hopes to change.
